Palmitoylethanolamide, better known as PEA, is gaining attention as a potential tool for chronic, inflammatory, and neuropathic pain. In this episode, Audrey examines how PEA works, the only published equine case series, the dose used in those horses, formulation and absorption concerns, safety limitations, where PEA might fit in a rehabilitation plan, and why FEI competitors need to be extremely cautious.
